My Faovorite Ab Routine
After a gruling chest workout I drag my sweaty
carcus upstairs. It's time for abs. No were not doing 1500 crunches.
Simple is better in this case. I plan on being out of the gym in the
next 10 minutes. Here goes nothing.
Exercise Ball crunch 3 x 15
Amazing workout. If you haven't tried it, I highly recommend it. I take about a 15-20 second break inbetween sets.
The Bike 3 x 15
Bring your elbows to your knees and really twist your body. You're
cheating nobody but yourself. Don't go super quick also, (you're not
actually riding your bike). The last couple reps should be pretty
painful, thats what we like. Catch your breath, it's time to roll over.
The Plank - Failure
Yes, the dreaded plank. Get up on your toes and
elbows, hold it untill you drop. It is painful within the first 10
seconds. It's all mental now though. Keep that in mind. Hold on as long
as you can. *SUCH A DEEP BURN*-yes anchor man-.
Good job, your done.
If this routine didn't do it for you I suggest
you revise your technique and really focus on contracting your abs. Or
you could try some weighted crunches, that works well too.
