So you've made the decision, you want to get rid of that belly. Losing belly fat is not going to be the easiest thing ever but it won't be the hardest eather.
I know it's enjoyable but it has to stop. Snacking is a terrible habbit for a lot of people, myself included. Its been a long day, you finally sit down and kick your feet up, why not grab a box of crackers or a bag of chips. By the time you decide to put them away the bags 3/4 gone and you figure you might as well finish them off.
Decide now, do you want to lose those extra pounds before you go to the beach, or are you just going to leave your shirt on? My friend Adam can did it, so can you.
Anytime the topic of discussion in my blogs,
articles or newsletters has turned to my own personal grocery shopping
list, there has always been a spike in interest. It seems that many
people are not only curious about what foods a natural bodybuilder eats
to maintain single digit body fat, but they also want to be taken by
the hand and told exactly what foods to eat themselves while on
fat-burning or muscle building programs. That’s why I decided
to put together four separate “top 10” lists of
healthy foods that burn fat and build muscle.
Do calories matter or do you simply need to eat
certain foods and that will guarantee you’ll lose weight?
Should you count calories or can you just count
“portions?” Is it necessary to keep a food diary?
Is it unrealistic to count calories for the rest of your life or is
that just part of the price you pay for a better body? You’re
about to learn the answers to these questions and discover a simple
solution for keeping track of your food intake without having to crunch
numbers every day or become a fanatic about it.
Imagine your in a situation
(work, plane, train,
automobile) where you just
didn't prepare any healthy
foods. Maybe you are in a
situation where the only
choice to eat something is
junk food.
I'm sure this doesn't
happen to you that often
right?
But when it does, should
you eat junk foods to keep
your metabolism up or would
it be more beneficial to not
eat at all?
If you've caused metabolic damage as a result of
following starvation diets or losing weight too rapidly in the past, it
can be extremely difficult to achieve any further fat loss at all. The
good news is, metabolic damage can be repaired. All it takes is the
right combination of metabolism stimulating exercise and metabolism
stimulating nutrition (NOT just a diet), all done consistently over
time.
If you are trying to build
up muscle or burn off the
fat and your eating habits
are not optimal... this
letter is for you. It's the
4 (four) Rules of Nutrition.
Normally I don't like to
use the word 'rule' as it
sounds like I'm being an
absolutist and it's my way
or the highway. That isn't
how I mean it at all. But
generally speaking, if you
aren't doing these 4 things
when it comes to nutrition,
you will not succeed at your
performance goals.
I have very little interest these days in all the
media-hyped stories of dramatic, rapid losses of body weight. “Big losers”
don’t impress me, for numerous reasons. For example, weight is not fat.
“Weight” could be composed of mostly lean tissue, or it could be mostly water
weight. In fact, I would go a step further and point out that rapid loss of bodyweight
correlates very highly with a greater chance of relapse, weight re-gain and
long term failure.
Are protein supplements
really better than protein foods? Before attempting to answer this
question, I should first preface it by mentioning that I do not sell
supplements, nor am I associated with any supplement company, so
you’re getting an honest and unbiased opinion.
Better yet, sleep has an
increased rate of anabolism
(the synthesis of cell
structures), and a decreased
rate of catabolism (the
breakdown of cell
structures).
Possibly the most
misunderstood part of
fitness is nutrition.
I personally have not heard
of the Warrior Diet until
today. But with so many of
these programs cropping up,
it's not a shock that I
can't keep up with them all.
Just like supplements,
somebody has a twist on just
about everything.
A news media feeding frenzy erupted
recently when a new diet study broke in the New England Journal of
Medicine (NEJM). Almost all the reporters got it wrong, wrong WRONG! So
did most of the gloating low carb forumites and bloggers. Come to think
of it, almost everyone interpreted this study wrong. Some valuable
insights came out of this study, but almost everyone missed them
because they were too busy believing what the news said or defending
their own cherished belief systems …
As an person who desires a lean, attractive
and “fat-free” appearance, you most likely have the idea that your
ultimate dietary goal is to limit your consumption of fat as much as
possible.
How would you like to know an surprisingly
simple and unbelievably easy way for almost anyone to immediately accelerate
their fat burning metabolism and improve their appearance over night?
No, this isn’t some gimmicky weight loss supplement, fancy
workout gizmo or “top secret” dieting strategy…
If you want to make the most of your body’s capability
of burning fat, building muscle and take on the lean, athletic shape you wish
for, then consuming a high quality source of protein with every single meal is mandatory.
Tons of people ask this specific question; do you have
a list of foods that help burn fat? Of course, there are plenty of foods available
that burn fat. And right now I'll share with you 12 of my favorite fat burning
foods.
I was always told to sit down and eat your food
slowly. So just like any other rebellious teenager, I stood tall and downed my
entire meal as fast as I could. Although I hate to admit this after all these
years, what I was told to do was actually very sound fat loss advice.
