There are many mistakes being made by people in the gym when trying to effectively target your abs, I just want to list a few of the most common ones I see.
After a gruling chest workout I drag my sweaty carcus upstairs. It's time for abs. No were not doing 1500 crunches. Simple is better in this case. I plan on being out of the gym in the next 10 minutes. Here goes nothing.
If you could sculpt
one body part to perfection for next summer, what would it be? Let me
guess - six pack abs! I don't know anybody who does not want to shrink
there waistline, lose body fat, eliminate low back pain and develop a
jaw dropping set of rock-hard six-pack. Too bad that your brain has
been poisoned with contaiminated information.
After 18 years in
the fitness business,
“How do I get great abs” is still BY FAR the most
frequently asked question I receive out of the 30,000+ emails that come
into my office every month.
Here's some thoughts on the
timing of your abdominal
training.
1 - Do them first as most
people skip abs and calves.
Some trainers will prescribe
the ab work and calf work
first as they are commonly
neglected body parts.
During my 16 years as a
fitness professional, there is one question I get asked time after time. The
fact that this question is asked so regularly clearly illustrates why most
people never get a flat sexy stomach or a ripped set of six pack abs. This
all too popular question usually goes something like this:
Where
ever you go, somebody is promising the next big secret to getting 6 pack abs. A
few of these so called 'secrets' have some amount of accuracy, while others,
not so much. Deciding which are the best methods to getting 6 pack abs is going
to be vital to your having success with this goal.
If
you want to get a an amazing six pack, you must exercise and train your
abdominals with efficient ab exercises. That’s not all though! In order to
really see your newly developed midsection, you will also have to shed the
belly fat that is covering it up. The ab exercise that I’m going to show you
now will help you achieve both of these goals at the same time!
